As the holidays approach some families will come in from out of town while others will swing in from around the corner. When guests arrive the first thing they will see is the porch, the grand entryway into your home. Some porches are less than desirable based on their age, while others just need a little bit of a facelift. Some may have a family member that visits the porch for a cold drink before or after dinner, while others may sit or stand on your porch just to get a breath of fresh air.
“‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house”, might sound premature, but if you’re planning to host Thanksgiving or Christmas or both, you may want to start. If you have a large or growing family, do you have enough room for everyone to mingle and sprawl out within your home? Are you planning a Christmas party where you are anticipating close to one hundred guests? If you’re scrambling for answers, perhaps construction is the solution.
